I'm very excited to announce that I have started working on the next fmscout.com arrangement.
It's a kind of a tradition by now; every year I'm redesigning the site usually to reflect changes on FM interface.
The site first appeared back in January 2005 but it wasn't until late 2007 when I dedicated time here with the sole reason to make it a better place for FM enthusiasts.
We had a successful last season (2010-11) in terms of traffic and crowd reaction, and this fueled my motivation to work even harder for the next version.
What should you expect?
This time the interface won't be based on FM at all, I have already designed most parts of the new version and I can assure you it's great from every aspect; it's simple, it's fast, it's powerful, it's highly usable. In a way it feels like the current version is a teenager and will grow into an adult (new version)... I believe the change is that important!
Everything should make more sense, as in properly organized and easy to find the stuff you really want. The main focus is on user experience, and you have increased usability as a result. This should include noticeable handy new features for members that have been dearly missing.
Apart from improvements and corrections to plenty of mistakes I've done on the current version (both technical and logical... yep, I admit my mistakes), there are some new ideas I believe you're going to enjoy and use. I can't reveal more about that at the moment.
When to expect the change?
I believe the new site will go live at the end of July, maybe during the first week of August. There will be plenty of time until the release of FM2012 to tweak and finetune everything, listening to your feedback of course.

I will be adding new posts on this topic to reveal some of the improvements and the new features until the actual release. Some screenshots should be attached to showcase the new stuff in pictures.
Stay tuned for updates by watching this space, or make sure you follow us on twitter and facebook. Subscribing to our newsletter would be a good idea as well.
Enjoy your summertime
