I will start by saying that I am going to sell Tony Hibbert,Yakubu and Steven Pienaar.
My team will do well in the league but to challenge for a Champions league spot I will need a replacement for Steven Pienaar.Help would be much appreciated
I would recommend Eddie Gaven
If you are playing as Everton I would recommend some patience in the transfer market. In my first season I bought nobody and sold those listed below. I would have been playing a different patch by the looks of it because Pienaar isn't an Everton player on my game.
GK - Ian Turner, 1.1m to Aston Villa - 11/07/2010
DC - Shane Duffy, 3m to Arsenal - 09/01/2011
ST - Jose Baxter, 4.1m to Chelsea - 10/01/2011
I would suggest getting some loan players in the first season though, people like Alan Patrick, Federico Macheda, Fernando Gago, Sergio Canales or Karim Benzema and try and push up the table as quickly as possible. The higher you are the more reputation (better players) and also more money you get so you can't really lose if you play wisely.
