In real life when we apply for jobs we will always have a inteview with the potential new employer to impress them enough for the position. I Assume in football the same applies so when Andre Villa Boas wanted the Chelsea job he would have had an inteview with Roman Abramovich or Peter Kenyon about the vacant manager position.
I noticed that in FM when you apply for jobs there is no interaction with the owner or new team bosses about the position of manager apart from one button which says 'Apply', then you are notified a week or two later whether you have been successful or not.
The main factors which are considered are of course just like in real life, Achievments and reputaions, success etc which will be on your manager profile and history in the game.
I thought it would be a cracking idea to have a little interaction with the potential new boss when applying for the vacant manager position, just like we do with the media,

Mr Abramovich - "Why do you want to be manager of Chelsea FC?"
You - 1. "Chelsea are a great club with a great history" 2. "You have lots of money to spend" 3. "I want to win trophies and really beleive i can achive this at Chelsea.
Mr Abramovich - "What Success will you bring if you were offered the position as Chelsea manager"
You - 1. "I will win the premier league for you" 2. "I will win the european champions league for you"
