coaches not allowed

Hi...

I'm new to this game and am trying to get the hang of it. What I did first when I took over my team was mutually terminate all the old staff so I could bring in good coaches. But now when I try sign a new coach the board always block it saying we don't need any new coaches

it is a bit frustrating cos when i go into the training screen most of the specialities have like only 1-2 stars so obviously new coaches are needed. I asked the board to allow me to sign more coaches but they won't budge on it.....

Just wait and try again later.

Finances/reputation won't allow you to do that, so as macdab said, wait and try later, when you try to sign a coach and offer him the contract you should see the number of coaches you currently have and the max allowed, so try to keep only 1 youth coach or something :-?

check the 'boardroom' screen as this list how many coaches you are allowed for each job. You could also make a board request if all else fails

damn, i really should check this more closely, i missed out on some good coaches cos of this. ah well, i'll see how it goes, maybe I can get more at the end of my first season.....if i last that long, they are not happy with my management so far
but i bounced back to be unbeaten in my last 5 games cos all my injured players returned so hopefully things are on the up...
