Where do I put custom databases

I recently bought the game and have become enthralled in it. I came across a custom database that someone created and I wanted to give it a go but I'm not quite sure where I put the file. I've been told you go to "My documents-Sports Interactive-Football Manager 11-DB-then paste" I've done that countless times but have been unsuccessful.

I am using windows7 64-bit edition and have downloaded the game using Steam. If anyone can help me with this little problem so I can enjoy the game more it will be greatly appreciated!
Paste the file in My Documents>Sports Interactive>Football Manager 11>editor data, if the editor data folder doesn't exist yet then just create a new folder in "Football Manager 11", name it "editor data" then paste the file in it.

Then when you go to create the new game make sure you tick the change data editor files button to see if you've got the editor file selected.

This should sort you out matey, have fun!
I think putting it in this folder should work as well:
\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\db\

You'd need to create the 'db' folder if it doesn't exist.
I put the one I'm trying to use(this one- http://www.hitthepost.co.uk/index.php?/topic/1125-world-super-league-over-900-teams/page__p__12837#entry12837) in the editor data and it recognized it but it creates a crash dump and shuts down before I can select the team I want to play. I've tried loading it while it's the only edited data that's checked and with a small database size but still no change.
Try installing the latest available patch (11.3) and try again?

Otherwise it's usually a problem with the third party 'add-on', or at least this is what the customer support would probably say.
Yeah, the custom database might not be for 11.3
