What determines the fee that clubs accept for players?
I created a new league structure for Australia, boosted club reputations (to be equal with say FC Porto), injected money into clubs, as well as adding higher prize money and improving the youth rating, training and yout facities. The clubs now buy players from top clubs and the standard increased so top teams could finish maybe midtable in Bundesliga/La Liga.
However, even though teams spend relatively big and strengthen their squad, they let players go very cheaply to European clubs. SAn example was Sydney buying Santiago Castro from Bologna for £72M only to sell him for £2M, 3 years later to Newcastle United. Other examples, are selling a talented young players for £2-3M to Liverpool who went on to win a Ballon Dor.
What can I change in editor to make these clubs value their players more, so they start selling players for fair transfer fees?
