Hello, I have been playing the game since CM. I rarely make any comment but I'm curios how you are making test for your tactics.

I believe that simulating the result by going on holyday doesn't really mean you tactics is good or bad.

You are missing out on the factors that you can rotate the squad and pick you best team to play in important matches. When you are on holiday it is all random.

What is more important that you can change the settings during the match. For example when the stats indicate that you are in control of a game but can't score a goal you can put more pressure on opponent if you are a better team.

I have decided to stick to fm 24 and still playing my save with Camden Town (created club). I have recently play again spurs and after 23 minutes It was 3-0. I have made changes to my tactics and won 4-5.

There are some members on this sites who keep creating post with the best tactics but in my opinion there in no such a thing as best and unbitable tactics. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. You can play the same match with the same players over and over again and the outcome will be different.

Yes while simulating, users dont get the chance to pick their best 11. With rest training most of the players will be fit and available.
Simulating results is a good measure because players can see the outcome of the tactic.Goals scored and conceded. If the tactic is solid defensively, leaking goals or very good in the attack.
Cause most players want to win and simulating helps us know what works in the current match Engine.

What if the problem are you players not the tactics?
For example. When I use small sides like Brentford, Leicester and Bournemouth i dont post that tactic because, with smaller sides you have to micro manage. I used a high line and no prevent short keeper instruction with a balanced mentality with Everton and Leicester. I had to carefully consider the quality of my centre backs. Their pace and agility, for those saves I couldn't simulate.
The players must be suited or be able to carry out the plan.
If the problem is the players team talks before the match and at half time should address that.
In big away games sometimes. I tell the players no pressure.
yeh i get that part. The reason I asked the question is to make a point that a tactics could be good but suits only teams with similar players used in testing.

Using a different winger with lots of additional traits will make you tactics better or worst.

I have seen that most of the tactics use gegen press with high defensive line and it work best with this match engine.

My team is a average team in the Premier League and it would be a suicide in my opinion to press high against top teams with quick striker. I usually use standard defensive line and mid block (step up more). It works with big team but again defensive team I usually push higher up.
Yes I agree with you. I also use a standard line when managing mid-table sides.
Most tactics that use a gegenpress style work for mostly top 6 teams. With suitable players
But for now I can't manage teams lower than 8th place in Fm26 because scoring goals is quite hard currently.
There is no one size fits all.
