Hello i have bern playing FM 2008 for 12 months and suddenly locks me out ofcsave games.
But when I try to save it, it says "Windows Security. Unauthorised changes Blocked. Controlled folder access blocked C:\Program Files...\fm.exe from making changes to memory"
Any advice please ?
I've also tried to install FM2012 using Steam (which I didn't realise I had to do and wish I didn't) and i get an error AppId0 invalid backup path message too.
I bought FM2012 used on ebay.I have now found the activation code has been used by the previous owner too.
I didnt know about this. I dont use Steam or the internet to update these games because i generate fictional players, which IMO is the only way to play them.
I presume a newer one written for windows 10 or 11 may be better, but i like playablity not elaborate graphics
Should i buy a newer version written for windows 10 or 11 so i won't get these problems ?
It must have generated fictional players. And all 4 Leagues in England. I dont want the real life ones
