Anyone had an issue saving the game??
since I installed the 26.1 patch I’ve had an issue when I try and save my game the save progress freezes at 20% and the game becomes unresponsive forcing me to close it via task manager which then results in my save file becoming corrupted so I have to resume from a back up, this was occasional but is now EVERY single time I try and save making the game unplayable. At no point have I used any of the public beta patches.
Ive verified my steam files, cleared the game cache and preference game folders as suggested by SI I’ve tried saving to the cloud instead which worked once and now never again since and tried changing the name of my save file rather than overwriting the old one….
anyone else had this issue and managed to fix it? as I really don’t want to have to start a new save as this was meant to be my long term save after the full release came out
