I am a manager in Football Manager 26 and I have a question regarding my club’s academy. Specifically, about the recommended youth players (Youth Intake Candidates):
Some young players (<16 years old) refuse to sign a Youth Contract, even though they are marked as recommended for my academy.
Sometimes, the game shows players with very high contract demands, even though they are still youth players, which makes it difficult to sign them.
Could you please explain why this happens and how I can handle it properly in-game? I want to develop my youth players and ensure I don’t lose promising talents.
