Due to the never-ending discussion about some tactics published here — which results in most cases cannot be replicated — I have decided to shed more light on the subject.
I conducted three different tests, using Manchester City, as this was the original testing team. We can reasonably assume that a stronger team with high-quality players should produce more consistent results.
The tests were as follows:
1. I holiday-tested one of the tactics from FM Arena twice.
2. I played the same match five times (the closest environment I could achieve).
3. I used Instant Result five times for the same match.
Today’s tests show some similarity in the overall outcome. However, the detailed results — including cup wins, goals scored, and other statistics — appear to be random.
I will not make any further comments. I will simply present the test results and allow people to draw their own conclusions.
All of the tests were recorded in a continuous, non-stop video. I am happy to share the full recording if anyone feels it is necessary, particularly if someone accuses me of interfering with the testing process.
For now, I will post only the match video test and the Instant Result test.
Holiday tested tactic downloaded from FM Arena:
SPEAR v1, which is tested on the current match engine.
1. The first test is the test carried out by the creator.
2. I have run two additional tests.

I saved the game in late April, when the team was mostly familiar with the tactic, in order to carry out tactical match testing during.
IDEA – The same setup (team and tactic against the same opponent), with no changes (no substitutions or tactical tweaks implemented).
The test was carried out five times.
