Sponsorship Money

I have noticed recently when playing FM that it almost never seems to give you a vast improvement in your sponsorship money no matter how well you do with your club. Has anyone else noticed this or has anyone gone from almost pennies to the high rollers etc. Is there anything you can do other than performances to improve it? Cheers for any insight

I have noticed this as well!
I brought my local team (FC Groningen) to (much deserved :P) success but even after multiple champions league wins, a legendary team and consecutive league victories, I was still raking in less money than PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord..
Also I think that sponsor money is too low in general. I looked up some of the sponsor fees clubs are receiving and I found that for example Ajax rakes in more money in real life than the entire Eredivisie in football manager..
But I hope it will be fixed in fm12 And if not, I will be making a data edit with decent sponsor money before starting a game.

I'll admit to not having played FM11 to the width and breath of others here, but I did cuss loudly, when after having won the (admittedly only) the BSS, the FA Trophy and making it to the 6th Round of the FA Cup....my annual general and kit sponsorship money for the next year went....DOWN! Twas only a thousand on each, but still.....I wasn't a happy camper!

Would have been interesting what would have happened if I'd been knocked out in the first round of the FA competitions and not managed to get out of the BSS, whether the money would have stayed the same...

The opposite happened to me. I got promoted from Championship to Premier League with Q.P.R and my sponsorsip amounts went up from about 3.x mill to 5.x mill. But the sad thing was that despite getting about 43 mill as TV fees, my transfer budget was a paltry 1.4 mill!

Ouch - that has got to hurt! How competitive were you in the first season in the Prem?

This is my first season in the Prem League. Won the first 3 matches, and now I've got 10 points from 6 games, sitting in the 6th position. Held Man Utd 1-1 at home.

I think I should change QPR to have a sugar daddy, like in real life...

I have pretty much the same problem here... Since FM 2009, I start with Blyth Spartans (from the BSS) and my sponsorship money has never reached the million mark (even though I always reach the Championship or the EPL).

Have you checked if your club has signed a new sponsorship deal?
