That's a pretty ambitious effort Valoel.
I'll certainly be happy to distribute it on our downloads section once it's ready to be released.

I made a version last year too - although I plan to make this one a bit more extensive. Hopefully I can get some help making pictures for the players since I really suck at that

I'll help with the pictures. Do you think they should be cut-out style, panini style or something else?

I was thinking of all pictures in this pack to be black and white - to give an aesthetic nostalgic feel.

Good idea

You can help with the pictures by finding the ones you like (on Google?) and saving them in some folder locally. Then you can pass me that folder (zipped) and I can happily do the cropping, editing and saving for FM.

i wanted to make something like this using FIFA 100 list but it's a lot of work and (more important) research.good luck with it though i would really like to use this database.

a few questions:

1.these players come from different eras. how are you going to resolve the DOB issue?

2.what are you going to do about the players that are still active(cannavaro)??

Active players will not be altered...

Cannavaro have retired from football. If retired players are active nonplayers in the game their profile will be removed and a new one created.

All players in this database will be set as 18 years old.

So what do you think about Vicente del Bosque ? And Juan Sebastian Veron as he decided to retire by the end of the month.

and what about Hakan Sükür, Rüstü Reçber, Ümit Davala ?

hakan sukur scored against ALL the greatest goalkeepers from his time, rüstü was transferred to barcelona in the past, and also selected 3d best goalkeeper from world cup 2002, Ümit Davala also has a great career and was selected 2nd best wingback(right) on world cup 2002 ..

i think these players deserve a spot ...

Really like the idea! And I wonder how the fm2012 algorithms will react to such a big quantity of young legendary players entering the game How extensive will the database be btw? With that I mean are you also going to look up all the heights etc.? And how about favourite clubs? (honestly I think you shouldn't add fav. clubs, since the players will all go to the big teams then..)

And finally, how are you going to choose their attributes? Will you make all players PA 200? Or just Cruijff, Pelé, Maradona, Platini and van Basten or so at 200 PA and then sloping downwards?
