Just downloaded through Steam. Everything gone well etc. But when i load it up, and its on the page where it says 'Loading' in all the different languages it just decides to close and goes straight to the desktop. Any help anyone???
Right click the game in your steam library. Go to properties and go to local files. Select verify integrity of game cache. It may work.
Exact same issues Im having, tried all the suggestions and still no luck. Having a nightmare.
Not trying to play the internet police here, but this issue is common among people who have downloaded some pirate copy. Are you guys sure this issue applies to the legitimate version too?
I brought mine from Game yesterday, activated it with the steam code on the back of the instruction booklet, installed fine, just keeps booting me off at the loading screen. Any suggestions at what to next? Would it be worth going into game? or possibly the apple store to see if its my mac causing the problem?
don't know anything about macs but i would check all simple things first and maybe a good idea to ask game to give you another copy maybe it is the actually disk? If your mac runs other games fine then i would think it wasn't a fault with your mac.

Can you delete your cache please.
Make sure FM or Steam is closed when doing so, then try again.

How do I delete my Cache files - Mac

- Go to Finder
- Go to Macintosh HD
- Go to Users
- Go to your home (Shape of a house) folder
- Go to Library
- Go to Caches
- Go to Sports Interactive
- Go to Football Manager 2012
- Delete all contents in this folder.

First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders.

The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Windows Vista and Windows 7:
My Computer
'Organize'
'Folder and Search Options'.

Once this is done, follow the instructions below:

2. Navigate to : “Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\
3. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder.
4. Go to the “Football Manager 2012” Folder.
5. Delete the 'cache' Folder found inside here.

Windows Vista and Windows 7:
1. Click “Start”
2. Click your username on the start Menu
3. Click on “AppData” and then “Roaming”
