Assistant bugging me to learn more then one tactic early on in the season when i have not learnt one tactic yet. Is it a good idea to learn more than one tactic as I never did in fm2011 - I just adjusted the current formation if a player was like injured etc... wouldn't learning two tactics just confuse players?
More then one tactic?
Is it a good idea to learn more than one?
I dont think if confuses players I have 3 tatics all near fully learnt, but only reeally tend to use one in my current career due to players, on fm11 I would switch between 2 formations one for league one for europe.
Ill have to give it a go then, be a long time before i get to Europe though am playing as Torquay!
I only really use one tactic so the creation of my second tactic on FM12 was purely just to shut my assistant up.

If you build a squad strong enough you don't need a second tactic.
Am sticking to one for now until they are spot on using it then i may introduce a second as backup.
I found if you use a tactic a lot of the time, the player will adapt to it and perform better.
I have 3 tactics fully up, from the beginning.
much better, you can switch to a more defendive or more offensive whenever you want, your players will adapt to it

Mainly I use 4-4-2 diamond but I also have two backup tactics 4-3-3 and 4 Defenders, 3 central midfielders, 2 wingers and striker.
My team is fluent in every of these tactics. And my players are playing quite good with every tactic.

I still use one tactic despite learning another i just don't ever need to use it. my players can play with both but I made the other one a defensive 4-5-1.
