I know that this is an old thread but as I think I found a way to avoid having too many injuries I thought Id share it:
Firstly Im pretty sure that the bigger your squad (or the better you are stocked in particular areas) the more injuries you end up with.
Having said that however the following definitely work:
1) Dont train very heavy (ie go up to the last click on heavy).
2) Get very good fitness coaches and physios.
3) When a player returns from injury always give him the "no pressure" talk and always introduce him as a second half sub.
4) Try not to have people ending matches with fitness below 60 (or indeed not to allow players to reach that during matches. This means that nobody with less than 93 fitness should be starting games.
5) Rotate
