Is it just me or is there far too many injuries in FM12?

Every time one of my players regains full fitness another few get injured! The training is set to a medium workflow and the match preparation is average so it cant be that.

It's so frustrating!
Its just bad luck mate, teams get injury crisis's. I haven't had many problems with injuries yet and my training is very heavy.
I have the same problem with a slight difference.

I just got the game a few days ago and fancied a challenge with arsenal and i accept that i get injuries to the prone players like walcott, van persie and rosicky but i have found that when they return to full training and just need match fitness there first game played they get another injury

I am putting down to coincidence and bad luck but 3/3 so far,

VP gets injured and returns, first game ready to play injured in game
Walcott gets injured and returns, first game ready to play injured in game
Rosicky gets injured and returns, first game ready to play injured in game

Still love it though

Yeah, I suppose your right. It just seems very bad luck for me as at least 20 out of my 25 man squad have been injured so far this season.

It hasn't hindered my performance though! 8th in the league with Sunderland, League Cup final and FA Cup quarters.

It has to be the best season I've ever had with them!

Had the same thing, but only with the obvious injury prone players in my squad (Brown, O'Shea, Bardsley, Cattermole).
The lesson is don't rush players to play after they have been injured?

I play them in the reserves until match fit, yet they only get injured once they are in the starting 11.
I had the exact same problem with injuries coming right after recovery. I use them as substitutes the first couple of matches to avoid it.

Same with me. Nani and Ferdinand also regained full fitness and were called up to the England and Portugal squads respectfully. Then Nain and Ferdinand both got injured on Internation duty, Nani out for 3 weeks and Ferdinand out for 3 months. Looking thin at the back now with only 3 centre backs as Vidić is also out for 3 months.
Training workload itself is not the lone cause of injuries. During the season it is better to keep aerobic and fitness training somewhere between low and high. Also note your players' injury causes. If it says that X got injured during a sprint session it means you are giving him too much aerobic training and likewise if your player gets injured during a weight-lifting session it means you are giving him too much strength training. There is also a hidden attribute called 'injury proneness'. Higher this attribute it is better chance that your player gets injured. You can have an opinion about this attribute by looking at a player's training tab.You will find a comment about it from your phsio in that screen. Another method to decrease chances of injury is to try tackling easy for players who gets injured mostly. By doing so, the player will only attempt tackles that he is sure of winning and less likely attempt reckless ones and get injured.
There is some conection with your pre season interview and the seasons injuries as you say yes or no if ijuries play a role in your seasons outcome when asked. But the major rule is: hard takling- aggressive marking- injury proneness-pre season training- too many players in the same position -squad depth(number of players)and the way you attack which makes the other team to tight mark, hard tackle etc.
I've started a game with Grêmio FBPA and the injuries did not show up so severely in the first season, but at the second one... geez! In the first two months, I've had lost 4 players (Rochemback, Juan, Dagoberto and Miralles) for at least 3 months.
I don't know about anyone else but I (and everyone else in the premier league in my save) have been getting an absurd amount of twisted ankles. I have had as many as 6 at one time and the rest of the teams in the premier league had it just as badly. Is this just bad luck, a bug or what? It seems particularly bad on international duty.

There seems to be some sort of rule that you must have at least 10 injured players at any time...

The weird thing is that the person I am playing this game with is not experiencing any injuries at all with Liverpool... Whereas at least half of my first eleven is always injured.....
Wow, how many Arsenal players are injured. You could make a good staring 11 with them (minus a GK)

You are reading "Too many injuries!".
