I don't understand: everytime when I wanted to start a match, my pc crashed. I had to reset the system, and then I could play again (but still, so frustrating) but now the game says it could not load my save file anymore!
What to do now?

Thank you for the solution, I'll hope the update will make it stop. It's been a problem for me since fm 11. So the delete of the folder is a well known solution, but it's frustrating having to make new settings every time the xml error occur.

But the problem isn't solved yet, I deleted the settings map, but the game still doesn't load my save file. How can I restore my save file?

If your pc crashed while saving a game, then it will nok work anymore? Don't know if that could be the case?

I'm out of ideas. I can only point you to the official SI forums for FM12 bugs.

My pc didn't crashed when I was saving, it was before starting a match:)
