Football Manager 2012 running when its not ??

currently downloaded steam and all seems normal with this.
problem is when i double click on the shortcut icon or click on play game it keeps saying football manager running when it isnt:S so i cant open the game

anyone having the same problem and know how to fix this??????

Open task manager and see if it is running first. End task and see if it'll load the game then or if the problem comes back.
