League Game – West Ham A – 25.01.15

4-2-3-1
David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidić, Gareth Bale, Tom Cleverley, Paul Pogba, Alex Chamberlain, Mario Götze, Nani, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used – Chris Smalling, Jack Rodwell, Javier Hernández

Again struggled to score in the first half so brought on Hernández and he scored and won the game 0-1. Also my defence played very well.

Hey good to see you signed Vadillo. Not many people have heard of him. I had signed him on my previous United save. Hows he been doing for you?

Also how is Chamberlain doing for you?

Lastly, maybe i could get your advice or pick your brain on two things:

1) How to get the best out of Ross Barkely if youve ever played with him

2) Who are the best cheap players you have bought. And for me cheap is anywhere below £7mil
Sorry if I'm butting in but James Rodriguez can be available for around 7m, I got him for 7.5 midway through my second season with real madrid. He is an absolute genius, could do with training in pace but he is a compromise between the qualities of Hazard and Ronaldo

Vadillo is doing well and coming along nicely. As I have said he struggled on loan at Celtic but is now at Hull again. I will look to move him into my 1st team next year.

Chamberlain is doing OK (only featured in a couple of games so far), his stats are low at the moment but I hope my coaches can work with him and he will improve in time.

Have never signed Barkely so can't comment sorry.

The only players that I have brought for under £7 (that are not regans) are Chamberlain and Carlos Fierro.
FA Cup 4th Round – Liverpool H – 31.01.15

4-2-3-1
Marc-André Ter Stegen, Rafael, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidić, Jordi Alba, Tom Cleverley, Paul Pogba, Nani, Mario Götze, Gareth Bale, Javier Hernández
Subs Used – Jack Rodwell, Ashley Young, Danny Welbeck

Went behind very late on but got a last minute equalizer when Reina scored an own goal. So a replay on the horizon.
Transfer News – So the window has now closed and City were the big spenders spending £45.5 million. The major signings were Yaroslav Rakitskiy to City, Rasmus Elm to Arsenal for £15 million and Alberto Paloschi to Liverpool for £17 million.
League Game – Bolton H – 04.02.15

Decided to try Götze as a striker in the Trequartista role as sometimes he gets crowded out in the midfield.

4-4-2
David De Gea, Kyle Walker, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans, Jordi Alba, Alex Chamberlain, Jack Rodwell, Anderson, Gareth Bale, Danny Welbeck, Mario Götze
Subs Used – Phil Jones, Javier Hernández, Fábio

Won the game 2-0 with Götze scoring one and creating another for Hernández.
Hmm, gotze could do with better finishing and ling shots, but if he is trequartista then it doesn't matter as much
Amazing story man, congrats on the 100,000!
Injury News – Alba out for 2 weeks with an injury picked up against Bolton.
League Game – Chelsea A – 08.02.15

4-4-2
David De Gea, Rafael, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Fábio, Eden Hazard, Tom Cleverley, Paul Pogba, Gareth Bale, Javier Hernández, Mario Götze
Subs Used – Jack Rodwell, Anderson

Lost the game 4-2 after being 0-2 up. Again Götze supplied an assist for Hernández and Hazard scored on his return but very angry with how the defence played in the second half.

Maybe was a slightly weak defence to field, but the game should be won at 2-0
Portugal Injury News - Fábio Coentrão out for the rest of the season with a broken leg so will need to find a new LB for the upcoming games.
FA Cup 4th Round Replay – Liverpool A – 14.02.15

4-4-2
David De Gea, Rafael, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Fábio, Eden Hazard, Tom Cleverley, Paul Pogba, Gareth Bale, Javier Hernández, Mario Götze
Subs Used – Jonny Evans, Jack Rodwell, Anderson

A very good 1-3 win with Hernández, Evans and Bale scoring. So into the next round.
