A very high tempoed game with lost of cards for both teams. Liverpool had Jagielka and Yarmolenko booked plus Sissoko and Suárez sent off for two bookable offences and United had Vidić, Bale, Pogba, Hazard, Götze, Rooney and Fábio booked plus Hernández given a straight red card.
The 1st half was nothing special and neither was the 2nd half but Hernández and Suárez both missed good chances. Hernández was sent off on the 57th minute giving Liverpool a man advantage but then Sissoko was sent off in the 75th minute. So the game went into extra time and then Suárez was sent off in the 93rd minute. Then finally in the 109th minute Jones scored from a corner and won the Champions League.
