Before you all blast me, I have been playing FM seeries since long,

was having a thought to try both FM12 and Fifa Manager 12 this year, has anybody played FIFA manager 12 ?

It seems to have nice rating from critics, How does it stacks up according to you guys?
every year i have played both fifa man and fm. the reasons for choosing fm are more then obvious but also choosing fifa manager was due to the fact that it has a better youth system. they have age groups, you can build youth schools abroad and many more. also another thing that i like about fifa manager is the fact that you can choose witch part of the stadium you want to expand and you can actually see it, more options for upgrading facilities plus other various buildings that help you in many ways(gym, boardering school, etc). these are the thing i think are better at fifa then at fm and the fm developers should take a closer look at fifa manager...they can learn a thing or two from them

Ok great, so i will try to get a hand on Fifa manager too this time ... lets see how it goes... to me the official pics and general GUI appeals a lot judging from screeenshots !
well ive had this discussion with sun before and he knows why i don't like fifa manager.

i will still have a go at him and the game :P

thing with fifaM is that the gameplay isn't realistic as FM and the game is more about the things around the game of football. its more like those sim games(sim city? or whatever they are called).

FM is all about tactics and building up a team, FM has good youth system and i like it how they dont go to a low level that you build up youth facilities and stuff like that. because that is NOT what a manager does. and for that its not a managing game and will never be as good as FM. :P

Have played a few games, I will have to agree with you... there are no post match team talks, cant give instructions for opposition players and found tactically shallow. Scout reports also states obvious ... do not provide enough details.

press conferences also have just one random question

BUT i must admit 3d match looks very good, if only we can have that in FM12... ;)
The screenshots are great. You wouldn't regret buying it.
