Am i just a poor manager or does anyone else find problems to win at home against weaker teams?

I have just completed my first season with Arsenal and finished 4th which i think was a good first season finish, I lost 8 games thorugh out the season and realised that 5 of the 8 i lost were at home against Wolves, West Brom, Norwich, Stoke and Aston Villa,

I looked at the team talks and they players reaction were all positive and tactics or training not changed all season, Premiership first team pretty much same line up aswell.

How can this be when i lose less away and against better teams

Any Thoughts?

Maybe its possible they put a better team on when away?

Maybe its just plain luck?

A positive reaction to a teamtalk doesn't always do the trick if they're just "happy". The reaction I always look for is "fired up".

If my team are favourites for a win and we're not winning by half time I'll usually tell them I'm disappointed (unless we're absolutely dominating but drawing and the majority of player ratings are above 7). It normally gets them "fired up".

Is your team professional in nature ?? professional players wont get complacent against lesser teams.

Also, I think you need young, hungry players for weaker teams, cause they will try and put best performances to impress you.
Also alter formations and tactics every now and then just so that AI dosent adapt to ur tactics... in other words try and confuse AI !!!
