Just wondering how big peoples databases are. Also wondering how many leagues you guys put in.

And if you could supply your computer performance as well. (ie. 1 out of 5 stars. 2 out of 5 stars etc)

I dont have the best computer. I am at a recommended 1/5 stars for performance. I put in England - Playable(Top 4 leagues), Italy(Top 2), Spain(2), Germany(2), France(2), USA(1), Holland(2), Brazil(1). I think thats it.

Would you recommend any other leagues?
My current setup is the following:

Large database + Portugal (all), Spain, France, Italy, England (top 2 for the previous ones), Germany, Netherlands, Ukraine, Russia, Brazil and Argentina (only top league). All leagues are playable. Brings my game to 3,5 stars in speed but it still feels pretty quick.
What is your recommended speed?

Ive noticed you have a Portuguese story going. Should I definitely add them to my current setup? And how about Russia and Ukraine? Why did you add those specifically? And should I add them.

Well, last FM I played with 2,5 stars setup and it still ran pretty well, so I would call that my lower bound. I add the PT league because I'm portuguese :) But since we actually have some rather good young players here, I would recommend it. I add the Russian and Ukranian leagues too because some of their teams have increased in status and purchasing power over the last years and makes the whole game environment more realistic.
I think the number of players you have loaded affects the game speed more than leagues. In previous FMs I always loaded lots of players 100000 up to 225000 sometimes but not many leagues and that noticeably slowed the speed down.

At the moment I'm playing with every single top division in Europe loaded plus the top 2 leagues from Spain, Italy, Germany, France and all leagues from England and Scotland, no additional players loaded. Thats a lot of leagues but only around 75,000 players loaded and the game progresses really fast. Think my rating for that was 1.5 stars.

I figure since I've got all the top divisions from Europe and top 2 from the biggest ones that I've got all the quality players I need, a realistic environment and I'm not wasting game speed by loading "all players from nation" and loading thousands of crappy players that I'll never want or need.

In short I recommend loading leagues with a small database over additional players. The leagues you have loaded look like a good choice, if you were going to add another I would also recommend Portuguese.
