I have just finished my first season as a team in the isthmian southern division (2 below BSN/S) and got promoted as top of the league. Only trouble is that although i stayed well below wage budgets the team is now nearly 50k in debt!

Is there anything i can do to generate a bit of cash?

I have a core contracted team who should be able to get me promoted again this season but beyond that im gonna have to probably turn pro and that needs money

Great database mod though btw adding in 2 more english tiers!

Friendlies against big teams.

Am i being stupid or has it changed in FM12 to not allow you to freindly with big teams? I seemingly cannot arrange a friendly with any teams other than the ones it suggests and the "very big rep teams" are only a couple of leagues above me

Well other than arranging friendlies(which you've already discussed), finding a parent team brings in a bit of cash. I managed to get Forest as a parent club on one of my Conference North saves (Can't remember which team I was), and that brought in a bit. Plus then you can bring in loan players thus reducing the need for contracted players until you get into a reputable league and play friendlies with said parent club which generates a lot of income. There's not really a great deal else you can do other than have a decent cup run. Good luck mate!
