FM 2012 Host Question.

Playing a game with my brother, he is hosting and we wanted to switch the host so that i host but if we just send the save file i will play with his user, how can we change that if it is possible?

well its the same hosting method, load game up(make sure its run as network in preferences). then go to game status, give IP to ur mate and he will join.

if your having troubles with use our search button and you will find loads of help on this from before. as nothing has changed since the early days of FM when it comes to online play.

No i think you got me wrong, we don't wanna start a new game, same game but i host he got the save file so he load it and i join take control of the 2nd user and then we play, so if i load the save file i play with his user and only the 2nd user is available to take control of for my brother if he joins me.

Might be confusing a bit so to make it simple :

X hosts and manages Juventus
Y Joins the game and adds a new manager and take control of Inter
Y wants to host so X sends him the save file, Y loads it up but he is now in charge of Juventus and only Inter are available for X to take control up when he joins.

oh i understand, well you cant do anything about this, ive found this problem before. what you need to know the next time you start an online game, add a "password" for the manager when ur taking over a team. so next time u need to join the online game u need to put in password to take control of the team.

that way you wont end up with the host automatically taking over your team if u move over the save file.

so unfortunetly u have to create a new manager or a new save.
