why? because he came with a big price tag. and he was expected to do this well imo. its not negative nuno. its just the he was expected to what he has done so he cant really be the 'signing of the season'

Fernando Torres is an awesome signing, but I think Nani is in the first place, because hes adaptation to premier league has been excellent ( as F. Torres) and hes team goes first in premier and keeps moving on in champions league.

yeh but its a difference.

i mean torres has been great for liverpool so far this season. BUT, he was expected to be this type of player. you guys didnt pay little for him either. it was a big buy and the expectations were high. and he has reached them so that isnt directly the signing of the season. it is a good signing though.

but looking at the likes of Jones and McFadden who in my opinion are the best signings. McFadden has had a great impact at birmingham and helped the the team a lot. another one at burm is zarate who has done well. but not the best signing though, plus he is on loan :p

and Jones has had a big impact at sunderland as well, did seriously anyone expect that player to step up into the premiership and do that well for sunderland? dont think so. but he did. and in my opinion thats the best signing.

i mean if jones was expected to be this good then it would be a good signing.

and torres was expected to be around about this good. and he is, so thats a good signing.

how could everyone forget Ashley Young? he has had a brilliant season so far. and he has been immense for Villa.

Villa signed Ashley Young last season in january so no not signing of the season.

Im not sure many would agree with me yet but i think signing of the season will turn out to be Jermain Defoe. Tell me at the end of the season if im wrong.
