How do I donate without having used Genie before?

Alright?

I've never used Scout before, but it sounds a great idea. I've just registered to this site and I'm hoping to download and donate to the cause to get the Scout. I'm not sure I can without being a previous user of Genie Scout? Any help?

1. The public version of Genie Scout 12 will be released this week, could be on Thursday or Friday. So you could just wait and get that.

2. The 'g' version which is currently available is like a closed beta testing, and for people who can't wait it's a great way to contribute to the GS project by donating or translating.
You can donate by using the donation box on Genie Scout homepage.
Please read the Genie Scout 12g acknowledgments topic for more details.

when I want to donate, how much can I minimum donate? And I have read that I must donate to Eugene.The Donate Box is for FMScout or for Enugene ?

The donation box on GS homepage is for Eugene only.

There is no minimum for your donation. Most people donate more than 1 EUR, some others give 5 EUR and a few donate more than 10 EUR. It's up to you.

Thanks for your reply Stam. However, I've tried donating, to enable Eugene to send me the link to my e-mail address, but you can not donate without a unique ID, and you can't get a unique ID without downloading the Scout, you can't download the scout with Donating etc, It's a big circle lol Guess I'll just have to wait, hopefully I won't have to wait too long!

You guys can get your unique ID from GS11 Btw Stam any news about Genie Scout? Its Saturday I hope it'll be released today.
