I've had some issues opening saves with Genie Scout resulting in both of the above messages.
I'm not going to provide a save game but can explain as the issues are mostly similar to others. Hopefully it will narrow down the actual issues for Eugene without too much trouble, if he hasn't already identified them.
Just to state also - My key is in the correct file.
The access violation message only seems to appear when I choose to not compress the saved game. I have no idea what this means, it just is what it is to me.
Now, on the original database, I'm sure it's widely known and accepted that the game will load. However it will not load, and will give the language inpute data corrupt message when using Nik33's FM12 Data Pack (http://www.fmscout.com/i-1398-Nik33s-FM12-Data-Packs.html).
Again, I don't really know what this means, or why, but hopefully I have saved Eugene some time and maybe reassured other people that it could just be a case of incompatability at the moment.
