Search for free agents by wage demand limit

Is there a way to filter players with free transfer status who are realistic targets for my team?

Hi!

Is there any way of using GS to:

filter the players with free transfer status and put limit on their wages?

So, i want to search for a free transfer player who will ask in-game for a wage of... say 500 / week. To make things more clear :P

It's not great fun to check every single player and if I tick the drop unrealistic fees (you know what I refer to), then I'll have: 0 (zero) players listed :P

Thanks in advance!
You can't possibly search by wage demand because it's a very unstable factor that changes per team and depends on random stuff. However, there is a way you can follow to almost achieve what you're asking.

1. Search for free agents via in-game player search and filter out unrealistic targets at the same time.
To do that, Add Condition > Contract Status > Unattached

2. Save as new shortlist...

3. Switch to Shortlist tab above (or from Manager menu > Search > Shortlist).
Click on Shortlists button with the down arrow (mid right), select the shortlist's name you just saved earlier.
Now Click the Shortlists button again, select Export Shortlist... and either overwrite the shortlist file with the same name (just saved earlier) or export as different name.

4. Open Genie Scout and load you savegame.
Once loaded, go to main menu (big GS icon top left) > My Shortlist > Open Shortlist
Select the shortlist file you exported.

There you have it! You can now see all the free agents who are willing to join your team.

You are reading "Search for free agents by wage demand limit".
