Match Preparation - Not Working

Strange as it may seem I can't seem to access the Match Preparation sliders for workload and additional focus ? they are "grayed out" and won't allow access. ?
Anyone got any clues or ideas as to how to fix this ?
I restarted a game and they were fine again but my old save is locked out ?

Any help gratefully received.

Have you crossed the option that the Assistant Manager takes care of it? You can find it in the Team Policy menu.
