I made a mistake when i wanted to load up the original db to check something, and with many windows up i made the mistake where i saved over the edited one with the original db which of course had none changes. But i got the .bak file for my edited one. how do i convert the .bak file to a .dbc file? It would be very cool if anyone of you could help me since i don't want to start all over again and edit the db.

I have tried to change the file extension from .bak to .dbc which will let me load it up again in the editor db and save a new db, but people can't join it when i play in my network game. Because its corrupt or something right?
hmm never heard of this .bak file, wouldnt think it would be possible to do this. you might have to do all your editing again.

but if u had started a save game on the edited database the save will always have the changes included.
