Steam related question

I installed FM on my laptop in October. That laptop has now gone to an electrical heaven in the sky. I have since reinstalled it on my new laptop via my steam account and it got me thinking.

Is there anything stopping me from giving my mate my Steam account details and letting him download the game and accessing it via the account as well?

i remember doing this before, there shouldnt actually be a problem(depends on your mate though :P). Im quite sure you cant have steam on simultaneously. one of you will have to play it on offline mode then(if ur often are gonna be on at the same time that is).

also you need to have good trust with your mate.
