Formation: 4-3-3
Line up: David De Gea, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Chris Smalling, Eden Hazrd, Javi Martinez, Marek Hamsick, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez
Subs on: Darren Fletcher for Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink on 45th minute, Rafinha for Eden hazard, Phil Jones for Javi Martinez.
New formation: 4-4-2, 3 midfielders, 1 attacking midfielder
Prediction: 1-2 lose
I thought I was gonna lose this match because we were dominated in the Community Shield using my best players and formation, however tough defending forced City to make most of there attemps on goal from long range. Rooney picked up the rebound from Hamsik and scored, then Hernandez manage to beat the offside trap as soon as he received the ball from Hazard and moved around Hart to score. Kompany scored from a corner kick with a header. My team dominated the last 20 minutesafter City's goal but good goal keeping from Hart prevented them from scoring.
I think my team did pretty well in this match and I learned how to counter opponent formations a little better.

Ryan Giggs got a long term injury form training for 2-3 months a day before the game, Fabio still serving his ban and Rafael is still injured.
No more signings yet but planning to buy Raul from Schalke and Deco from Fluminense as backups and tutors.
My brother's Leeds vs Derby result: 2-0
He's still newbie in FM but he's doing really well accept against Bristol earlier in the season.
Next leeds match vs Crystal Palace, Crystal Palace are favorites and media are predicting a boring victory for them however I think my brother might do well.
Next MU match vs Newcastle, I'm predicting a 2-0 victory for my team and hope real life MU don't affect my fm team.
Formation: 4-2-4
Line up: Patrice Evera, Phil Jones, Marco Materazzi, Chris Smalling, Eden Hazard, Darren Fletcher, Marek Hamsik, Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney, Javier Harnandez.
Subs on: Jan Vennegoor for Rooney, Rafinha for Hamsik and Lorenzo Crisetig for Darren Fletcher all subs made on 69th minute.
Final Score: 2-1
Comment: In this match I let some youngsters and backups play along with a few of my first 11 so to minimize injury for starting 11 and to give youngsters and backups a chance. The game started out pretty well, my team was dominating the game and soon Eden Hazard scored with a header after Ashley Young had crossd it into the six yards box. We had 3 goals counted as offside in that half and Newcastle only threatened twice from corners. Early on the second half Jonas Gutierrez scored with a header in a Newcastle corner. I was starting to panick around the 60th minute as Rooney and Hazard missed one almost open goals each and we has a goal denied as offside. Thats when I decided to replace Rooney, cos he wasn't playing well, Hamsik and Fletcher, since they were playing in medicore level and because they keep giving offside through balls. With 20 minutes left on the game Newcastle conceded a penalty and Marco scored it. For the rest of the match I decided to just retain the lead but my team still dominated the game.

Formation: 4-3-3
Line up: David De Gea, Patrice Evra, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidic, Chris Smalling,Eden Hazard, Javi Martinez, Marek Hamsik, Iker Muniain, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernaned.
Subs on: Rafael for Vidic on 45th minute, Rafinha for Hamsik and Lorenzo Crisetig for Javier Hernandez both on 62nd minute.

Comment: I decided to go wth the 4-3-3 formation expecting that my strikers did witht he help of the midfielders until Martinez's red card. I also expected the full backs to cover both defending and attacking on the flanks which they did really well through out the game. The first goal came from Rooney on the 7th minute, he scored from point blank after Hamsik had centered the ball. The second goal came from Rooney too, he received a really far through ball from Hazard in a counter attack beating the offside trap and was quickly far form any Blackburn players and scored in the one on one. The last goal was on the 45th minute from Yakubu. Pedersen kicked the ball high in Blackburn's build-up play, passing Martinez and Jones, Vidic some how missed the interception and let Yakubu receive the ball run to the keeper and scored. I substituted Vidic as he was playing poorly through the first half but I think the goal was partly De Gea's fault as it was from a narrow angle. On the 61st minute Martinez, tackled one of the Dunn, and Dun actually flew from the tackle. Martinez received a red card for it but I think it was unfair as he did get the ball.
Next match is against Norwich at home. Martinez received a total of 3 match bans for any English competition so he won't be appearing any time soon except in the Champions League, first match against Bates 5 days after Norwich. Darren Fletcher play more during Martinez's ban with Lorenzo Crisetig and Timmy Simmons covering for him. In this game I will use the 4-5-1 position with one defensive midfield because recent results show that I have way to many close games so I would like more players to control the midfield and to stop opposition build up.
Formation: 4-5-1
Line up: David De Gea, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Rafael Da Silva, Eden Hazrd, Darren Fletcher, Timmy Simmons, Marek Hamsik, Nani Wayne Rooney
Subs on: Fabio Da Silva for Nani on 45th minute, Jan Vennegoor Hesselink for Darren Fletcher and Raul for Timmy Simmons both subs on 50th minute.
Predition:3-0
Score:1-0
Picture of overview will be posted here later as my internet is very slow right now.
Comment: I wanted to have a clean sheet for this one so I decided to add a deffensive midfielder so that I could control the midfield by taking the ball from strikers before they get to my defenders, this makes it quicker and easier in my opnion to launch counter attacks. Rooney plays alone up front, he has been great this season scoring 4 goals in 3 games so I decided that he should posses a big threat to the Norwich defence- how wrong can I be. In the first half we were dominating the game however most of our real chances came from set pieces as Eden Hazard, although he was playng well, continually tries a shot from either difficult angels or far distance, this wasted a lot of our chances and he could have passed the ball instead of shooting it which if he did could give us at least a 2-0 lead by the first half. Rooney however had no luck with his shots although he was always on target - the Norwich keeper, Ruddy, was playing well and kept parrying his shots. On the break I subbed Nani as he was very tired. On the second half he continued our domination untill Rooney tackled Chambers in Norwich's box- which I miss due to the camera agle. I put Raul and Jan Vennegoor hoping that the exta strikers will help score goals. For the rest of the match Norwich threatened more, our only goal came from Vidic- he scored with a header from a corner kick.

Guys I'm just wondering if it is a good idea to try and train David De Gea into a sweeper keeper, this position requires a high eccentricity which I know cannot be trained. The only attribute that De Gea lacks to be a Sweeper Keeper is the Rushing Out one, does anyone know which training section covers the training of that attribute. So is it a good idea to train De Gea to be Sweeper Keeper with low eccentricity?
You have made a LOT of singings. I was disappointed to see you let Pogba and Cleverly leave (they are developing well on my save). Are you playing a 4-3-3?

Not sure I can give you any pointers as you already have a lot of players?

i agree with godman . u should have kept pogba and cleverly because they both turn into real classy players.

how did you afford marek hamsik and eden hazard in the same transfers window as they are both pretty pricey players and Manchester United dont start with that much money
I dunno why but from previous experience Progba and Cleverly never seems to develop much, for the transfers I sold a lot of players that aren't for long term and paid a small initial price while the rest is paid over the months. The 4-3-3 works great when I'm exploiting the middle or when the opponent has good defence but bad full backs and players. I'm going to update my story tonight I hope you guys read it.
Recent results:
3-0 away win againts Bolton
1-1 home draw against West Brom, Manager Aurelius Tirto was away on holiday in his bath room when this match was played
0-1 away lost againts Tottenham
This match was, no other way to explain it: Gay. Gayer than a keeper doing a header rather than catching the ball and conceeding, gayer than players humping each other in celebrations and gayer than Manchester City fans thinking its cool to lose a trophy they worked to get for 35 years in just 93 minutes, no offence even as a United fan I think City is good and supports a healthy rivalry. Well anyway we conceeded early and De Gea tried to save the ball as much as a FIFA 12 keeper would, he went right when the ball went left, I didn't think this was possible in FM. Rooney looked like he was trying to score with his dick from close range, maybe it was just a diflection, and gave it to the keeper. Muniain thought he was Beckham or something and continually tries to shoot at tight angles between 10-30 degrees when he had all the defenders focusing on him and could have passed instead so that Rooney who could have scored in an open goal. Somehow the only players that were doing OK were the defenders, Javi Martinez was good at winning the balls but instantly passes the ball straight to the opponent when Hamsik was just a meter away, the wingers Hazard and Nani were struggling to cross and dribble and I don't know what Hamsik was doing, he never seems to partake in anything, I set it so I only see key parts of the match. The constantly reliable player Hernandez was unavailable due to a flu which causes him to be absent for this match only!
More results:
4-1 home win againts Reeding, though to quarter finals of Carling cup, used lots of youth and backups for this one.
6-1 home win againts Fullham, Hernandez is constantly plaing well for club and country this season and it's not uncommon to see him get ratings above 8 and in my game it says that he has played 38 games for Mexico and scored 38 times.
3-1 away win against Villarreal, and Hernandez scores two goals from tight angles that the Villarreal keeper could have stopped by moving his right leg by 1 meter to the right but instead decided to take time and dives for the ball.
Next match is home againt Q.P.R I'm going to use some youth for tis one.
