I've got a lot of players on my squad who's not from the nation my club is at (only 8 are actually, out of about 22). One problem I've to face is the loads of language barrier problems - my players are'nt quite sure what language to speak! Interestingly, my character - the manager- also does not speak English..lol

So, what does it take to teach my lads English? or any major/minor language for that matter? Or does it take a fixed amount of days in a country to learn its language?

Also, how do we hasten the process?

Training should include weekday morning language classes, eh?
lol adaptability is whats required. a player with higher adaptability will learn quicker. thing is though even though someone adapts you might have bought a really stupid player so he might never learn. :P

but i recommend you signing a new english professor as a staff member. i onced signed a professor from harvard i think it was. my team were brilliant in english, never learned to play football though.

jokes aside its adaptability you need, but usually many players ive seen have been able to adapt without learning the language that quickly. as on the pitch language counts for little of how to play.
Adaptability. Got it!

And that's what I thought yeah, but..

In one game at HT, he approached my virtual self and apologized, 'Me messing with play, boss?', I just looked at the virtual pixels that form his name and said, 'Yes you are.' He continued playing and still continued to suck at understanding English.

not a single f* was given this season. But he speaks my language, ¿Dónde puñeta has estado? He'll have to stay.

and a preview of my team:

talk about bias - we shall have none of that.

You got me for a sec thar..haha nice one.

Thanks Red
Personally i have never had any problems or issues with languages, i am managing PSV, into my 4th year, my bio says i speak English, French and now Dutch, the media try and make a big deal of it as i have players from all over the place here, apparently it took me 2 years to be totally fluent but i have had meetings with players who didn't share a common language with me and they seemed to understand me, so i wouldn't really worry about language at all.
