I am in my 4th season as Man City Manager, have a good squad, won back to back premier league titles, champions league, league cup, fa cup, super cup and world club championship, but I have decided to cut down the size of my squad due to too many high profile players complaining that they're not getting enough 1st team football.
I have sold Benzema, Soldado, Theo Walcott, Guisseppi Rossi, and im in desperate need of a new striker. I have Aguero, Neymar, Luis Suarez and Charlie Austin but I need a out and out goalscorer who will bag 20-30 goals a season for me. I had spent in total £80M in signing walcott, soldado, benzema and rossi and between them, and none of them managed to score more than 30 goals between them in 2-3 seasons at the club. would like somebody to advise me on a striker who can bag me goals for fun at rather cheaper price of £35m although i know how hard it can be to get a decent striker without spending £30-40M.

instead of spending ridiculous amounts of money on signing new forwards. try alter your tactics a little bit and sometimes that is all the change u need
I Have tried different tactics and formations, Benzema would score if i brought him on as a super sub, but would rarely perform well when given a starting place, walcott had injury issues so not really his fault with his scoring record, soldado didnt score a single goal in 20 appearances, if my tactics and formation were the issue then aguero, suarez and neymar would have problems scoring the high number of goals they score, thankyou for the advice anyways.

Edinson Cavani, Pure class, around 38M.
the game cheats so you can't walk it. you could have the best strikers in the world (which you pretty much have had) and still fail to score to your potential. you'll either get the MOTM goalkeeper curse every game, or your strikers will seemingly fail to ever hit the target from the closest of ranges.
last season i had about 13 different goal scorers, all of which bagging multiple goals. was still struggling however to convert chances to goals, even with huge amounts of clear cut and half chances.
all you can do is rough it out and hope you can keep going while every team around you will have a 20-30goal a season striker consistently scoring whilst yours can't.
whats charlie austin like at prem level? im pompy in my first season and was thinking of buying him. is he worth it in the prem?
most people only buy strkers if they have a good finishing stat .. the most important is composure . if u want a forward who doesnt miss try signing ruud van nistlerooy.
Anyone signed Jordan Rhodes and if so is he doing any good?

all day long easily the best striker on the game i had him upfront in my 4-3-3 as the target man in the middle and was scoring freely bagged at least 40-50 goals a season and at 30M ish u cant complain

i got for good technique first, then decent composure and finishing. you can have a forward with awesome finishing (jelle vossen, 18 composure+finishing) but they scuff shots all the time as they have crap technique (14).
also flair is a fantastic stat too as they score from utterly nothing chances.
carlos vela and seydou doubia are both fairly clinical in those respects.
@Dan_Striker77 - I have Jordan Rhodes in my Leeds team in premiership into my 3rd season in premier league and he scored 15 in first season and 27 in second season. His stats aren't amazing but he does score goals.
i think u personally have enough forwards .. try looking at some defenders . as u probably know they are equally important
Seydou Doumbia is a must buy bought him for like 16-17m in my 1st season with Everton he is like 23 he scores between 20-40 goals a season for me his Value now for me is 18M got golden boot award best african footballer award and the english one
Doumbia, Leandro Damiao, Higuain, Cavani or Hulk.
