I've always enjoyed the Data Editor on FM games, so i decided to make an attempt at an almost completely balanced English Premier League.

Edits included:
- Giving every club an overall Finance of 1 billion pounds.
- Giving every club a Transfer Budget of 1 billion pounds.
- Giving every club a Wage Budget of 10 million pounds.
- Increasing every clubs reputation to 10000 (a lot).

I can already see some advantages and disadvantages to the way the game should play out.

Advantages:
- Same spending and rep should ensure the traditional smaller clubs won't be priced out of buying the big players.
- All-round better quality of players in the league.

Disadvantages:
- Big clubs will already have good players, therefore starting off with an advantage.
- Managers should be fired quite often from the under-performing clubs.

If you can think of anything more that i've forgotten please give some input in this thread.
well i higher wage budget for the lower teams it gives them a advantage
do that on the confrence teams then whatch the change
weaker clubs would never be able to get rid of weak players because players would not want to leave.
For example if a player is good for Sunderland and you transform Sunderland into ManU that player is no good for them, but he wont leave to a weaker club.
no not really
Yea, because he would go to a big team... like from Man U to Liverpool, because all teams have same rep

Do you think that could be countered by the incredible amounts of money a club has and they wouldn't even need to get rid of them until their contract runs out?

if you use the original editor that comes with FM.

then you will realise that each team have their own 'stats'.

its in the area where you can choose what the teams primary formation is etc.

things like counter attack, depth, attacking defensive and such will be there. and the ability can be chosen between 1-20.

thing is the smaller clubs will still have less stats on things. even though they have the best players in the world in FM they wont be the best attacking team.

so if u made every single team with '20' on everything, like attacking etc.

then you would see more competitive of course. of course then its a big difference between the managers etc.
just release

Of course, I completely forgot about that. I might try another game after a few seasons of signings on the current one.
I think that it will be really interesting project...
its not normal.every competition MUST have some teams better teams than others.its everywhere in the world.not just in football or in sports but in every domain.not everyone can be the same.

but for fun.....its ok:yes
yea but for me it would ruin the game with all those elements took out of it and prem champions would change each season

its better when you go to the big boys you can expect to get something out of the game instead of getting lucky!

Having a lot of players that never play damages moral
