A surprisingly easy win against Spurs. Even they were away, i thought they would put up more of a fight. Fernandinho once again showed his worth with a brilliant performance! kagawa did nicely too coming off the bench to score

An easy game which gave me a chance to field some of the second/younger team. Felipe Anderson was brilliant and i am considering a full time spot for him in my team. Tevez was disappointing. AGAIN!!!

A relatively easy game. If i had known it would be that easy, i wouldve fielded an even weaker team!
Transfer Update:

Wesley Sneijder has been offered to me for £30mil. I dont know whether to buy him or not though. It would be great to have someone with his experience and quality. But i already have, Hazard, Gotze, Fletcher, Asamoah, Felipe Anderson, Fernandinho and Kagawa in my team!!

Any advice?
You only want to get him for nostalgia value..because United are "supposedly" after him in reality. You don't actually need him for your game, when you have so much quality already.
Do not buy him get a position you need backup in or an area you are a bit weak in. What is your team and then i can give you further advice ?
Transfer News:

As much as i would have liked, im not going to make a bid for Sneijder unless i can get a good price for Fletcher and possibly Kagawa, in the January window.
UEFA Champions League 1st Round Knockout Draw:

Club World Championship Final - 21 Dec 2013

Man Utd vs Estudiantes (LP) (Neutral)

Formation: 4-4-2

Starting Line-up:
ter-Stegen(GK)
Vrsaljko(WB) Evans(CD) Ferdinand(CD) Fabio (WB)
Gotze(W) Felipe Anderson(AP) Fletcher (CM) Cleverly (WM)

EXTRA TIME: Missed Penalty Cavani (102), Hernandez (102)

MOTM: Villar (Estudiantes GK)(8.8)
Top performers: Ferdinand (7.7), Fabio (7.5)

A good win. Didnt really put up the strongest of teams, but we did well. We absolutely pummelled their goal, and frankly should have scored some more, before extra time. But a good final win nonetheless!
English Premier Division - 26 Dec 2013

Man Utd vs Man City (Away)

Formation: 4-4-2

Starting Line-up:
De Gea(GK)
Vrsaljko (WB) Vidic (CD) Jones (CD) Fabio (WB)
Nani (W) Hazard(AP) Fernandinho (CM) Gotze (WM)
Cavani (AF) Rooney (CF)

Subs Used: Kagawa, Hernandez

FT: 2-1 Dezeko (27), Rooney (pen 58), Hernandez (59)

MOTM: Gotze (7.9)
Top performers: De Gea(7.5)

We played decently, but were truly saved by some silky dribbling from Gotze to earn us the penalty, and then from a fabulous cross from Kagawa to allow Hernandez to score. It was a day for ex-Dortmund players!!
English Premier Division - 28 Dec 2013

Man Utd vs QPR (Away)

Formation: 4-4-2

Starting Line-up:
ter-Stegen(GK)
Vrsaljko (WB) Wilcox(CD) Vidic (CD) Santamaria (WB)
Valencia (W) Felipe Anderson(AP) Asamoah (CM) Cleverly (WM)
Cavani (AF) Rooney (CF)

Subs Used: Hernandez

FT: 2-1 Vidic (44), Cleverly (50), Campbell (pen 74)

MOTM: Kenny (9)
Top performers: Cleverly (8.3), Asamoah(7.5)

Bit of a disappointment as we shouldve crushed QPR, but Kenny (QPR's keeper) had a stormer of a game. He was a giant between the posts, and was the only reason we weren't 10-0 by half time!
English Premier Division - 30 Dec 2013

MOTM: Rooney (8.2)
Top performers: Santamaria (7.7), Hazard (7.6), Fletcher (7.5)

An easy home win. I was pleased with Manuel grabbing a typicals poachers goal. He is really showing some promise, although his attitude stinks!!
hey nakulp you look like your struggling to get the best out of Cavani. If you knew my tactics to play him under he would be the 1st one on your team sheet every week. In a previous game Cavani finished the season with 44 Goals in 37 Games and in my Current Story 'check it out by the way' http://www.fmscout.com/t-41051-My-Manchester-United-Story-FM-2012-xXAndyh.html#41051 :) he has 20 Goals in 15 Games all using my tactics. Here it is my Gift to you :)

Thanks for advice mate. Thre reason Cavani isnt the first name on my team sheet every week is because i rotate a fair bit. This is to try give experience to all players, and im also trying to develop some very promising youngsters.

In terms of getting the best out of Cavani, i may be wrong, but the way i play Cavani, i get a lot of assists out of him too. First season he scored 33 goals and 17 assists in 37 apps. Second season was 36 goals and 24 assists in 44 apps.

I will try out your tactics though, and see how big a difference they make.
