FM 2012 running really slow..

Hello

FM has become really slow, unplayable so to speak.

ive got a new dell xps laptop, Intel i7-2630QM 2ghz, 8GB ddr3 ram.

FM has always been really fast and ive had no other problems before. But on now suddenly it has become as i said earlier really really slow. If i go on a holiday it takes nearly 2 hours on 3 weeks, the loading screen from day to day takes about 30-40 sek. Its really slow.

Ive done the things thats normally mentioned, close all other programs etc. set priority to highest, reinstall FM. Tried other saves, new games etc.

Cant figure out whats the problem.. Any suggestions?

I had a problem with FM12 running slower and slower for each season and were getting really frustrated... Tried to clean My Mac, deleted shortlists but nothing seemed to help until I deleted all the notes I had saved... I saved alot of news for some reason but as soon they were gone the game was back in full speed again... Even with My shortlist imported again so the notes seems to be the problem for me... Hope this might help someone...

Appears to me, that the problem could be the steam. Because FM before didn't need it, they were really fast. With steam running, it decreases it's speed and reactions. Just my opinion.
