FMScout FC - Season 1

I've just written the most detailed match report EVER and was timed out! Gutted! I'll have to just give you all a brief rundown of out first match.

18th min - An error from McCabe lead to Ladapo gaining possession. The ball went out wide and was drilled across the 6 yard box where Ladapo managed to break free from McCabe and slot home. Disaster!

20th min - Good work from Marsden and Andrews in the middle lead to a good shot from Marsden, only to be denied by the keeper

29th min - Nepal fired a shot against the post from outside the box! So close!

We went into the dressing room at half time 1-0 down. I rallied the troops and assertively told them that I expected to see a better performance from them.

54th min - My assertiveness paid off. Andrews played the ball to Marsden on the edge of the box who turned and hit a first-time shot into the bottom corner. 1-1!

Wholesale changes were made, 11 more players dyign to make an impression...
Some were trying a bit too hard though! Strong skipped past two defenders and screamed the shot nearer the corner flag then the goal.

71st min - a free kick on the edge of the area. Wizzle stands over it and struck it sweetly, only to see it bounce off the top of the bar!

The team pressed on but couldn't quite get the second goal they needed and the game finished 1-1. As you can see by the stats, we were the better team but didnt have the luck today!

9 min - Dream start for FMScout FC!
A free kick wide out on the left is whipped into the box by Halsall and Waller is there at the front post to slot home

11 min - Eastleigh are back in the match already!
A long ball is played into the box and drops to the feet of White to fires home

16 min - Chance!!
A ball worthy of La Liga is played forward by Harris, Marsden is quickly onto it but places his shot just past the post

34 min - So close!!
Halsall wins and takes a free kick outside of the box. the free-kick is struck with venom but just skims the outside of the far post

38 min - Eastleigh go close
A ball is played into the box for White who manages to turn and hit the shot wide of the far post. The defenders were caught napping there!

41 min - Disallowed goal
A shot from Wizzle on the edge of the box is deflected into the net by Giovanni-Ji but he was in an offisde position so the goal won't count

43 min - GOAAAAL!
A short throw to Marsden out wide on the left. Marsden hit an inch-perfect ball into the box on the turn and found the head of Halsall. 2-1 FMScout!

2 subs made at HT. A tired Pierres-Nazlo was replaced by Dabrowski and Harris was replaced by Andrews.
I cal,ly told the team to keep on going

53 min - 3-1 FMScout!!
Wizzle played a shot ball on the edge of the box to Giovanni-Ji who thread a through-ball to Marsden who fired into the roof of the net

58 min - Eastleigh up for the fight
Hodgkins fires just over from the edge of the area

59 min - Game over?
FMScout grab a 4th! Wizzle and Marsden combine again, but this time the latter plays through to Beech who places the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the box

Like for like subs again. Unfortunately, Strong couldn't come on due to all 11 players being replaced (Harris missed out in the last game)

72 min - Eastleigh pull one back!
The defence is caught napping again and Gillespie fires home for the visitors

77 min - Five Alive!!
A 5th goal for FMScout. Agrela plays a sublime through ball through the middle for Ham who cooly slots past the keeper. Bone was injured in the build up and was replaced by Strong

91 min - Woodwork
Ham plays a short pass outside to McGuigan whose shot finds the outside of the post

Final score: 5-2

Joannes3000 informed me after the game that Andy Bone looks like he will be out for 5-6 weeks with a pulled hamstring.

Looks like a sweet game to play mate. Hopefully McGuigan can get in on the act more often with some assists from the wing. Any chance of a screenshot of his stats tomorrow whenever you get the chance. Cheers.
