Pre-Season cont...

A 5-2 victory in only our second game... To say I was chuffed was an understatement!
There's still a lot of hard work to be done before the new season starts but we're well on our way.

No rest for the wicked though. 2 days later and we're at home to Dartford. Looking at the fitness report just before the game more or less picked the team for me

Looking forward to tonight's matches. =]

29 min - Good reflexes from Shaughnessy to deny Dartford's Sheringham

Half-time - The stats are looking very even but FMScout hold a one goal lead.

50 min - 2-0 FMScout! - Free kick whipped in by McGuigan finds the head of McCabe at the back post. Surely his mistake against Maldon & Tiptree is now forgotten

54 min - 3-0 FMScout! - A mistake at the back allowed Giovanni-Ji to stride forward, a last ditch tackle rolled the ball into the path of Marsden who slotted it home!

70 min - 4-0 FMScout! - Game, set and match. ANOTHER incredible through ball from Harris finds Beech in the box, who rounds the keeper and pokes the ball home

88 min - 5-0 FMScout! - Halsall fouled in the area. Wizzle steps up and slots home

14' - GOAL TO FM SCOUT - Wizzle played a short, quick pass into the box for McGuigan, who turns and curls a shot into the net off the near post

56' - Switched to a 4-4-1-1 and made like-for-like subs with Nepal playing behind Giovanni-Ji

71' - GOAL TO FM SCOUT - Nepal, Andrews and Strong combine well and the latter finds Beech free in the box to score from what looked like a very offside position

78' - Rochdale strike the crossbar!

84' - Dechman gets very lucky to get away with only a yellow for a foul when Thompson was through on goal
