There has been a lot of talk in and around sport about the concept of Moneyball in recent months. With the amount of money thrown around in the game i think it's about time football became efficient, getting the most out of the least. Hows about a challenge to see if we can recreate the world of Moneyball in FM?
Some simple rules:
The ultimate goal from this challenge is to be the most efficient team, can you get your wage bill down as low as you dare and be succesful in European football.
1. Teams must be from the top division in either the English, Spanish, Italian, French or German leagues.
2. You must not use a RTE.
3. You cannot submit a team that is full of Youth players on silly money.
4. To have succeeded you must have qualified for a European place following your first season (I.e. you can take as long as you want but can't already be in Europe!)
If you can think of any other rules just post!
