Hi Guys and Gals,

Today i bring to you the opening chapter of the tale of my adventures managing around the world (although, not much of that has happened yet).

Anyway, my goal is simple, become the best manager in history, and do it by managing through the lower leagues on multiple continents. I start as a ex-Sunday League footballer, looking to make a name for himself, and I intend to finish as the most sought after manager in world football.

Tactically, I am going to work on a team-by-team basis, although my preferred 4-2-3-1 formation is likely going to make an appearance at most teams I manage.

As for club choice, Instead of being picky about a club, I have decided to just Holiday indefinately to start with, with the "Apply at all clubs" option selected, to ensure a real challenge is thrown up, and then accept the first Job offer I receive.

That's all for now! I'll be sure to post an update when my first Job offer comes through.

**Btw, a list of selected leagues is below (A total of 38 Divisions across 18 countries) :)

Argentina: Primera Division, Nacional B
Austrailia: A-League]
Belgium: Jupiler Pro League, Tweede Klasse, Derde Klasse
Brazil: Brasileirao Petrobas, Serie B
China: CSL, Jia League
England: Premier League, Championship, League 1, League 2
France: Ligue 1, Ligue 2, Championnnat National
Germany: Bundesliga, 2.Bundesliga
Greece: Superleague, Football League
Italy: Serie A, Serie B
Mexico: Primera Mexicana, Liga de Ascenso
Portugal: Liga ZON SAGRES, Liga Orangina
Russia: Prem'er Liga, Pervyj Division
South Africa: ABSA Premiership, NFD
Spain: La Liga, Liga Adelante
Switzerland: Axpo Super League, Challenge League
Turkey: Super Lig, 1.Lig
United States: MLS
Hi Guys,

Unfortunately, I've just suffered a major balls-up with my Primary Laptop, resulting in it needing a reset, so I've lost this save and therefore, as you can see, deleted all posts but the first.

Not a huge problem though, I have another Lappy with FM12 on , so what im planning on doing is having another go at this save on the working Laptop.

Hope anyone who has read so far doesn't mind too much :)

Landing on my feet!!

After applying for all jobs, and getting rejected on all but 1, I am happy to report im delighted with my first managerial outing!

A team in the Brazilian second division, but with a huge amount of promise, could be a VERY interesting venture!

Now, I take over after the season's start (6 games in), so getting results right off the bat is crucial!

As we can see, my team currently occupies 5th place, only 3 points behind the league leaders, and are in a great position to kick on and continue a good start to the campaign!

Now, due to the players avaialable to me at this time, I'm thinking a 4-3-3 formation, with 3 DM's, to ensure my team is pretty much water-tight at the back, whilst letting my strike force (A very promising strike-force, i might add) reign havoc on opposition defences!

My 3 "star" players this year are looking to be as follows:

Goalkeeper Ze Carlos, Defensive Mid Dionisio and Striker Deigo Rocha!

Now, let's get stuck in!!
Good luck on your adventure! Sounds like a promising story :)

After a poor start to my managerial career (results wise - goalscoring was not a problem, as you will see), my team really bucked-up their ideas, and were in superb form, dropping very few points on the way to sealing promotion to the top flight!

As the table below shows, my team were outscoring everyone in the league by a long way, and only narrowly missed out on actually winning the division!!

My key player this year is none other than Diego Rocha! Netting an amazing 38 goals in just 31 games!! My DM Dionisio was also pivotal in the success this year!

Now, depending on what jobs are available, I don't see myself sticking with Parana (mainly due to the fact half of the team are loanee's), and it would take too long to make them a success in Brazil! Besides, I took them to the top division, I should leave and let them find their own way to success over the coming years!

Let's see what the future holds!

Didn't have to wait too long!

After leaving Parana at the beginning of December (2.12.11), I immediately went on holiday, and checked the "apply for all jobs" option. And here I sit just over 1 month later, with not 1, but 2 job propositions!

For me, the choice was obvious. Aris are the far superior team, so despite the season being over half-way through, I step into my office for the first time!

I have again identified 3 players, a GK, DM + AM, whose performances are going to be crucial if im going to push up the table!

Now, to jump straight into it and see if I can make a push for a Europa League place!
Not bad!

After getting the good start I wanted, I've managed to guide the team to a 4th place finish in the league, and in doing so securing a European Place Playoff! Hopefully, we can continue playing our quality attacking football and maybe end up in a European place afterall!!

My best player since taking over has been Nery Castillo, who has put in a string of quality performances from his Left-wing position! If im to do well in the Playoff's, his good form needs to continue!
Goal Accomplished!

When I took over at Aris, I said that a Europa League place would be a good result for this team this year. However, I've gone 1 better and managed to qualify for the Champions League (through the European Place Playoff) with 1 game remaining!

It's a huge occasion, and providing I get into the Group Stage, It's a huge boost for the clubs "unhealthy" finances! The playoff itself turned out to be much easier than I expected, as the team managed to get through the 6 games undefeated (W4-D2)!

Given the Champions League qualification, I really need to strengthen the team in the pre-season, and depending on finances, I will be looking to make 1 or 2 permanent signings, and a few loan's if the right players become available.

But to summarise, after just 11 months in management, I'm happy with my achievments so far. Guiding Parana to a promotion when they were actually relegation candidates, and getting Aris into the Champions League on my first season with them. Hopefully I can build on my success with Aris for a full term next season, and hopefully bag my first managerial silverware!
