The Chelsea Revolution

Being a Chelsea fan, I wanted to change the way things are being done at the club.

Too many players at Chelsea are on the fringes, picking up big wage packets and really don't deserve their place in the squad. My aim is to completely overhaul not just the squad, but the club as a whole.

I want youth players ready to come into the first team squad within 2/3 seasons. I am also going to 'try' and keep some sort of financial control within the club - i.e wages, contracts, transfers.

This is my plan...

Spend no more than 50% of the club's overall bank balance in any season on transfers. (Current balance £58,538,730)

Young players of two or more stars potential are kept, either in the reserve team or youth team. They can be loaned out to gain first team experience.

Reduce the overall wage bill as much as possible.

I mutually termniated the contracts of 27 of my backroom staff - (Mainly scouts). A couple of backroom staff promoted and a few staff came in to freshen things up behind the scenes. Pre season is over - Played 5, won 5.

Bruma - £1,500,000 - Sporting

Branislav Ivanovic - 2 Weeks - Pulled Hamstring

I've tried to set myself the same task in the past, but ended up getting the infamous Abramovich hammer in the third season. I hope you find better luck!
