Stairway to Heaven

the beginning

After playing this game for such a long time, and it's predecessor, and reading this enjoyable stories I found some guts to trie and do one myself.

Inspired by the many stories around here but also but my personal taste, I will start from the very bottom and aim to achieve a top European cup success. I called it, Stairway to Heaven.

Starting of with 9 leagues, the criteria of this choice was my personal taste and interest in managing teams in such leagues as well as the limitations that my crappy pc gives. As such, the chosen leagues were:

Belgium
Bulgaria
Croatia
Czech Republic
England
Portugal
Slovenia
South Africa
Spain
All of them with all leagues selected to the very bottom, summing up to 25 leagues.

As for the manager details, myself, Ricardo Rodrigues with Portuguese nationality and Sunday League Footballer experience. Will start unemployed at the start of the game and personally will grab the first manager opportunity that comes in my way to start to build some curriculum.

Off we go.... I promise to keep you posted as soon as I have news on my whereabouts.

Job offers

Well, as I explained before I went all out and applied to a number of teams with vacancy manager positions.

Surprisingly enough, a lot answered me with job propositions. 

2 second division Bulgarian teams
1 second division Croatian team
And 4 South African First division teams

Given that my knowledge on this countries, being Portuguese, is none my best bet was look at the depth of the squad, the wage and transfer budget offered and the media prediction of each team.

I eventually chose MP Black Aces with signing the contract with Mr. Ria Ledwaba a chairman that loves the club and offered me a transfer budget of €105k and wage budget of €54k...

...media prediction... 2nd! Let's see if I can keep up with those high expectations!!

Off to the African continent, will update with more team information the moment I put my hands on the team.
