Manchester United VS Zenit-UEFA Champions League

Line-ups: (4 4 1 1) De Gea
Rafael, Jones, Evans, Fabio
Park, Scholes, Carrick, Young
Muniain (Valencia, 58) (Nani, 77)
Welbeck (Rooney, 58)

We had already sealed qualification so this game was just a case of resting players ahead of the Bolton game. Even so, we quickly fired two goals in and it was looking like a comfortable victory but in the second half Zenit came at us all guns blazing and the match finished a draw. Final Score 2-2

Man of the match: Danny. (8.3) (Zenit)

It was a shame to lose a two goal lead but as I said we had already qualified so this match never really mattered.

Manchester United VS Bolton Wanderers-Barclays Premier League

Line-ups: (4 4 2) De Gea
Rafael (Evra, 45), Jones, Evans, Fabio
Nani, F Anderson (Young, 69), Anderson, Giggs
Muniain, Rooney

This game on paper was a home banker. Bolton couldn’t win to save their lives and we were in great form. We started amazingly, with Rooney grabbing a hat-trick in the first 20 minutes! However, after that we just kept the ball and tried not to tire ourselves out too much, and were completely comfortable until the final whistle. Final Score 3-0

Man of the Match: Rooney. (9.6)

We played well and didn’t wear ourselves out unnecessarily. Man City don’t even seem to want the title as they drew with bottom of the league Blackburn, meaning we are now seven points clear again and Liverpool are into second place.

Manchester United VS Aston Villa-Barclays Premier League

Line-ups: (4 4 2) De Gea
Smalling, Hummels, Jones, Fabio
Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Giggs
Welbeck, Rooney

Shay Given is not human. He honestly kept out an onslaught of attacks single handedly. After 14 minutes Fabio scored a screamer but then the Irishman kicked in and would not let us add to our tally! Then after half an hour of me being baffled by my teams’ inability to convert chances, the unexpected happened. WE CONCEDED! It was level again but Shay Given finally found his match in Danny Welbeck, who had already hit the post twice, when he seized on a Carlos Cuellar mistake to fire home. The rest of the game was the same though, and I still cannot comprehend how we only scored two! Final Score 2-1

Man of the Match: Fabio. (8)

Well we won which was the main thing but I am frustrated by the scoreline. Still, we have kept our lead over Liverpool in the Premier League but next game we have to cross to the other side of the city to play our rivals at the City of Manchester Stadium!

Goodbye

Hello all. I am just posting to say, I am planning on stopping this story. I have lost my interest, and there are already a lot of Man Utd stories, so mine offers nothing different. I will be starting a new one, with a less popular club, the club I support, and I promise that this one will be a long term save. If you enjoyed this story then the next one will be along the same lines-watch out for it. Sorry guys.
