Tottenham's chances. Tottenham's season.
Tottenham's story

Spurs spark changes

As Harry Redknapp leaves Tottenham for his national side, England. David Levy announced early this morning ex player Regan Williamson -who's career was cut short at 32, 2 years ago after a leg break caused by United player Paul Scholes- as their new manager.

Williamson who had enjoyed a playing career at Motherwell, Rangers and Tottenham and scored 22 goals in 55 games for Scotland, 9 of them games he captained.

Levy had this to say this morning "Obviously losing Harry is a big loss, but Regan is very influential and is a great leader, he showed this while he was here for the final 5 years of his career. He was a brilliant captain and I am sure he can lead this club to gold and greater success!"

We asked Williamson what he thought about becoming the new Tottenham boss and he responded confidently saying, "Well, David had said after I broke my leg that I would make a brilliant boss and he would love me to be the head coach here but there was no reason to chuck out Harry when he was doing so well. So, I remained patient and went to stay in Morocco for a little while. Come the end of the last season, Harry was being heavily linked with the England job and I got called by David who told me, Harry said he would be leaving. He asked if I would like to come in and discuss terms and I did so. Now, I'm here and Harry's at England. We are both where we want to be."

We continued questioning him and asked his plans for the club.
He responded "I reckon we need to make some signings, some big ones and some smaller ones. This club has many injuries at the moment and it is very possible we have many over the course of this next season. I feel that with some of these signings we could finish in the top 4: Win the FA Cup, good run in Europe, and even win the League cup."

Whatever way you look at it, it looks like a successful season is on its way to White Hart Lane.

Spurs signing superstars?

Tottenham seem to be splashing the cash as today it had been leaked that a bid of 34M for FC Porto's star striker Hulk was accepted, we heard from a source in Porto's camp.

Tottenham have already signed skilful trickster, Nene for 3.1m. Who even though is aged 30, Williamson still think is a class player. They had also put in a bid and contract offer for Ibrahim Affelay who signed for a different club.

If Tottenham do sign Hulk, it'll be tough competition for the striker spot(s). As Louis Saha, Jermaine Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor are all easily good enough to make the Tottenham squad.

In ways of Tottenham getting rid of players, it looks like Luka Modric is outraged at not being allowed to discuss terms with Manchester City, as Tottenham wanted a whopping 40m for the star midfield gem.

Spurs splash cash on strike-force

After putting out Giovani dos Santos on loan to Benfica. Regan Williamson and David Levy had a meeting about signing some top strikers. Williamson was given a set budget of 15M to buy needed players with. With that he bought classy Brazilian Nene for 3.5m and ex-Scunthorpe striker Gary Hooper from Celtic for a neat 5m!

Which wasn't enough. He wanted someone big, someone who people would be on the edge of there seats with. He didn't have the money though. He wanted the amazing Hulk to be playing in white next season. This would only be possible if Mr Levy would give him the money.

Owner David Levy told us "Regan called me the other day asking about getting the striker, I knew the plans he had for the striker. I told him I would do the negotiations and he didn't have to worry"

Half a week ago, Porto boss Vito Pereira announced a 32m bid had been received and accepted from Tottenham. Only days later, Hulk accepted a 76k a week contract, with the add on 'match highest earner' clause.

After complications with a work permit yesterday Hulk was unveiled as a Tottenham player. He said he was delighted to be testing himself in the 'biggest league in the world' and at 'a club that could win the league'. Regan and David were both flattered by the comments.

It certainly will be a big fight for the striker spot.

Pre-season results:
Standard Liege 1-3 Tottenham
Leyton Orient 0-2 Tottenham
Tottenham 1-1 Barcelona
San Jose 1-3 Tottenham

Confidence booming at White Hart Lane?

After a consistent pre season and a very good 1-1 draw with a strong Barcelona team. Regan Williamson says that his boys and him are confident that a good season is ahead! Although he is a young manager and some of the players are younger than him, even the fans think a top 4 finish is more than possible.

"I think we could win the title this season, we have a strong squad! Great rookie manager. It's in the bad" Said one hopeful season ticket holder. We asked an Arsenal fan his views on Tottenham and he responded with a "Mid table team, nothing more. They have money yes but there players aren't up to a top 4 finish. They'd be lucky with 8th!"

Tottenham announced earlier this week that there captain for the upcoming season would be Michael Dawson. He spoke out about the clubs chances this season "It should be a good season. I think a top 4 finish should be done with ease. We have an amazing squad, all of which play internationally. We are all delighted about our 3 new signings. They should all make a great impact."

European football is something Mr Williamson is taking very seriously this year and to get into the competition they need to beat Finnish outfit HJK in the 4Th round qualifier!

Williamson claimed to "Never heard of them" but "should take them seriously". The first leg is set to be played on the 18Th of August at White Hart Lane.

Spurs shatter baggies season start

Spurs shattered the Baggies good start to the season hopes last night as they won 4-2 at the Hawthorns.

Adebayor opened the scoring in 6 minutes, and Spurs went into the changing room at half time 3-0 up. Hulk getting one of the goals, Adebayor getting a second.

In the 2nd half, West Brom's Shane Long connected perfectly with a volley that glided passed the American goalkeeper Brad Friedel.

Adebayor got his hat trick before Peter Odemwengie got a 2Nd goal for West Brom.

Mr Williamson was "Delighted with the win" and thought "Adebayor was class, he passed it about and made some amazing runs that doesn't even include the level of goals scored".

Updated after new news comes up.
great scenario where your career got cut short through injury and very interesting writing but it sounds as though you might need a world-class centre back to shore up your defence and maybe a replacement for essou-ekotto as he is the weak link of the team

Tottenham Finish Finnish champions

Last night Tottenham arrived at the home of the Finnish Champions HJK! The stadium had everyone of its 10k seats full to witness Tottenham go through the the group stages of the Europa Cup.

The 1st leg was played at Tottenham's home, where they won 3-1. Left midfielder Nene got two of the goals, one of which seen him use his quick feet to niggle his way through the defence before smashing it home: the other of his two goals was a bullet header from the edge of the 6 yard box.

Tero Thil got a goal for HJK. A nice bit of passing from the side was finished with a neat, placed shot!

Jermaine Defoe got a goal to make it 3-1. The ball was played through for him and he used his sheer pace to break through the defence and finish it all off.

When Tottenham travelled over to Finland to play the away leg, they were sure they were going through. Which they did, A 'could have played better' performance saw them win 2-1.

They have been drawn in a group with Ruban Khazan, Lazio and APOEL.

Tottenham Manager Regan Williamson feels Jake Livermore could do with one more season out on loan at a championship club. He told us "His passing is incredible. He just needs more experience and work on other aspects of his game. I'd love to see him wearing a Tottenham shirt and walking onto that pitch next season. He has great potential. They all speak about Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey but I think Jake is just as good!"
great mate, following this one!
Tough group in the europa league. rubin khazan will be the major threat. lazio will also be a threat but should beat apoel with ease

Great start to managerial career!

Mr Williamson has been at the club for only 2 months but his work there has been noticed. After some impressive results. Some important signings. Williamson has made an epic start to his career at Tottenham Hotspur. His record shows:

Results & Fixtures

Competitively, only the one draw away to Lazio. Fans and other managers are taking notice of this. Josep Guardiola said "The way Regan Williamson gets them passing the ball about is something to die for".
One season ticket holder said "He has come in and done brilliantly, I think this could be the best season ever. The transfers he has made a crack-a-lacking.' He joked.

Transfer Centre

Which gets us onto the signings made. Here is the official transfers made by the manager:

Hulk, Hooper and Nene. Hulk and Nene starting on a regular basis. The 32M price tag might be getting the best of Hulk as he has been struggling to find the net with one goal in five league games. Surely it won't be long till he finds his lethal form. Speaking of lethal form, Emmanuel Adebayor.

Adebayor has scored more goals than he has started. With an over all of 9 appearances and 10 goals. In the Premier League he has scored an impressive 6 goals in the 4 games he has played in.

Premier League progress

Winning every game. Which shouldn't have been to hard. All the games were all smaller opponents, apart from Man City. I went into the game thinking I would be walking out of it with a defeat. The boys played well without lethal Adebayor playing and pulled of a neat 3-1 win.

Manager note

Struggling to get the best outta Hulk, might need to only play two upfront instead of three. Most games I play I buy him and he scores boat loads!

Found this 16 year old in my side.. Has to be going somewhere big!

Great story mate looking forward to the next update!
Its looking good mate I like the newspaper style you do it in
Tottenham are always tempting to manage, with Bale, Modric and VDV. Nice surprise signing there for Hulk, perhaps Leandro Damiao would've been a better choice, though less versatile?

Loving the newspaper style, great story!
i love the story mate looking really good :)

u have drawn a pretty favourable group in Europa LEague. but be wary of APOEL especially when u play them in cyprus. very tough to beat.

well done on the great start. but dont get to ahead of yourself , theres along way to go

i suggest trying to sign Thiago alcantara from Barcelona and Jan vertongen from ajax
