go for clubs that are predicted to finish top half of the table, with decent players and a decent budget.
Then try and win the league in the first or second season.
Clubs like: Rennes, Borussia Monchengladbach, Braga, Newcastle, Wolfsburg, Hamburg, Sevilla, Villareal, Montpellier etc.

I suggest Montpellier because of the fact that they have a side with loads of potential, but not alot of money for transfers though.
I am also like Stam and choose team based on if i like the name, colour of badge etc. I like to choose Eastbourne in the lower leagues to help upgrade the facilities with continued success.
I like starting a game with a lower league team like San Marino in C2 or even Milazzo (predicted to finish last, won C2 and C1 consecutively). It's a matter of perspective I guess. I enjoy finding clubs that have financial struggles with little or no wage budget, with larger teams such as Milan, MUFC or Barca you just have it too easy I guess!

ive started out a third time. I have played Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund. Now ive decided to play my own team. Epsilon FC. Im playing in the Premier League. its been three seasons and ive got relegated once to Npower League but recently ive pushed myself back to EPL. However still struggling to get Top 4. Ive only secured one FA CUP and one CARLING CUP. My best players are Raheem Stirling (RW), Fabio Borini(ST), Juan Vargas(LB) and Stefan Jovetic(CF) while other players are random players xD . Like I say, if you want a challenging yet fun time. You could try creating your own team and bringing it to Top 4 position

Have FUN!!

Hi, I was looking for a new challenge in America. I was thinking either an MLS team, Real Salt Lake or LA Galaxy appeal to me, or either Boca Juniors or Sao Paolo. I wanted to know if there are any stupid rules in any of these leagues like the home-grown EPL rule, and can somebody explain the MLS draft please??

Hi,

I have decided to start with a lower league club and work my way up. You should do this too but it's up to you. I have started as Penarol in the Uruguayan Division 1 and will hopefully work my way up to the Premier League :) Hope this helps :)

Yeah, I might start with say, a Brazilian second division team and try to become a good manager in the region and Brazil's manager
A Brazilian third division team, it's pretty easy!
I was using Leicester City i came in 2. in Championship in my first season, with Jermaine Beckford as topscorer! in second season i came in 15. in Premier League. Then Chelsea offered me a job. which i turned down :D
I normally just do it with the team that I support, Chelsea. I find it real fun seeing that I am already familiar with most of the backroom staff, players & youngsters already. I think it's different for everyone but personally you should start with the team that you support. I am currently doing a save and am in my 5th season and will try and go as far as I can, but although a lower league may be more challenging at times, it is still quite hard for beginners to keep the job at a big club, as they do have high expectations too! When I'm finished with this though I want to do something different so I'm gonna choose a country randomly some how and then load all leagues in that country and then just hit the random button and take it from there.
I have started with Thurrock. The worst of the worst in Blue Square South. 1st year won the league and got promoted to Blue Square Premier, came second and got promoted to League 2, won the playoffs and is busy is League 1 now 2014 - 2015 season and not doing bad. Now I like to change a lot so started with a whole bunch of new free transfers, and change them as soon as I can. Have not bought a single player yet, just negotiate good wages.
But now I am thinking of going on a holiday for 10 years and start with my favorite team Man United.
maybe that is what you should try.
I started one with Newcastle United and its worked out great. Santon is an absolute monster at LB and Ba and Cisse just score the goals for fun. all Depends on how you want to play it though....

Hi everyone, I just signed in and I have some doubts to choose a team.
I don't want to go with the best team/s of each contry e.g.-Portugal: Benfica or Porto; England: Chelsea, Man United / City or Arsenal..., I would like to go with a team that has a medium reputation (3 - 4 stars) with an average stadium, (between 17500 / 35000 capacitiy) and finaly with an average squad, not to strong because on my first seasons I want an hard competition, but on the future I want to take the team to have a good performance in the national championship and win the Europa League, and later to win the Champions League in the same (or not) team. (I already made a list of players that I will trie to buy)
Here is a list of clubs that did:
-Hamburg
-Malaga
-Lille
-Rennes
-Valencia
-Werder Bremen
-Zurich
-Leverkusen
-Liverpool
-Shaktar Donetsk
-Lazio
-Fiorentina
-Juventus
-Braga
...
(If you have any clube suggestion please subscribe) :)
