Today I joined the newly promoted Swansea on a £17,250 until June 2013. I told the board that I expected to finish mid-table and therefore was given £6.5m and a wage budget of £275k. But I personally think I can get around 8th or 7th here’s to a good season ahead.
Pre-Season Results:
Swansea VS Swansea Reserves 3-0
Port Talbot VS Swansea 1-7
Swansea VS CSKA (sofia) 1-6
Neath VS Swansea 1-4
Fatima VS Swansea 1-2
Estrela Amdora VS Swansea 1-6
Girona VS Swansea 0-3
I am very happy with the results, only problem is I conceded to many goals against lesser teams so I need to work on that.

Comments welcome good or bad
In:
Tom Caluwe Free
Guti Free
Aaron Hughes 2m
Total Spent 2m

Out:
Mark Gower 300k year loan
Darnel Situ 24k year loan
Leroy Lita 400k year loan
Total In 775k

I got rid of the dead wood in my team, unfortunately only on loan. I decided to bring the very experienced Guti because of hi amazing 20passing and Tom Caluwe because of his strength and fitness. I also decided to strengthen my back for so I decided to bring in Aaron Hughes.
Scott Sinclair injured for 3weeks with groin strain
good signing with Guti. how are his concentration and composure skills cause there equally important
Looking forward to following this story :) Try getting Danny Welbeck on loan
Blackburn VS Swansea (Ewood Park)
Today was the opening day of the EPL and I had a difficult game away at Blackburn, but if I am going to finish where I hope I should be getting at least a point out of this game.
Line up:
Vorm
Rangel (Tate)
Hughes
Caulker
Taylor
Guti
Allen
Dyer
Routledge
Sigurosson (Orlandi)
Graham

Things got off to a great start for Swansea after dominating the possession for the first 10mins. On exactly 12minutes Danny Graham scored a poachers effort from 4yards out after Paul Robinson fumbled the ball from a corner. Things got worse for Blackburn when there star striker Yakubu came off with a fractured arm after 24minutes. On the brink off half-time Scott Dann brought down Dyer in the area and the penalty was given. Sigurosson tucked it away coolly. The second half was dull in comparison with Swansea just keeping hold of possession.
Final score Blackburn 0- Swansea 2
Breaking News: Swansea have approached Danny Welbeck on a year long loan

Concentraction is 11, composure is 18
Breaking News: Just a day after the approach of Danny Welbeck, Welbeck rejected the loan becuase he beleives Swansea lack ambition and are not good enough for him. Swansea now have to look else where.

Swansea VS Chelsea (Liberty Stadium)
Second match of our EPL season after a good result against Rovers last week, we had to quickly focus on the tough challenge of Chelsea.
Line up:
Vorm
Rangel (Tate)
Hughes
Caulker
Taylor
Guti
Allen
Dyer
Routledge
Sigurosson (Orlandi)
Graham

Chelsea dominated the early goings and had the ball cleared of the line an amazing 3times in just 15minutes. Swansea then shut up shop for the rest of the half leading to a dull first half. But Swansea couldn’t hold out forever and on the 61st minute Mikel scored a ferocious volley from 8yards out. Then Malouda secured the win with a header from just two yards out from a Lampard free-kick. Wayne Routledge gave Swansea hope with a superb solo effort goal in the 88th minute. But Chelsea held on and took the three points back to London.
Swansea 1-Chelsea 2

Next up Carling Cup 2nd round versus Yeovil at Yeovil, should be comftable
Yeovil VS Swansea (Huish Park)
What should be easy victory for the Swans after a tough game against Chelsea.
Line Up:

Vorm
Tate (Rangel)
Hughes
Williams (Cauluker)
Taylor
Britton
Caluwe
Routledge
Orlandi
Dyer
Moore

Surprisingly Yeovil dominated the opening 10minutes and having a clear penalty turned down. Then out of now where Swansea countered and Orlandi capped of a great play by scoring tap in from 2yards. Gareth Stewert then suffered the humiliation of scoring an own goal to put Swansea in the driving seat. The second half was a lot more exciting with Swansea scoring a penalty after 6mminutes, Ashley Williams scored from a corner to put the game beyond doubt and Luke Moore scored a volley from outside the area to round off an emphatic victory.

Yeovil 0- Swansea 5
