The Swans Flying High

Newcastle VS Swansea
After a very bad run of 5losses and 1draw, Swansea travels to St James Park in a very difficult match against Newcastle.

The first half got off to a good start with Newcastle hitting the post twice in just 3mins. Not much else happened in the second half except for Swansea hitting the bar from a Hughes header. However the second half was a lot more entertaining with Swansea scoring after just 16seconds with a strong volley from 25yards out. Demba Ba equalised after just 4minutes with a sensational curling effort from 18yards out. Routledge then scored for Swansea with 2minutes to go with a power header from a corner, to make the Swansea fans think the wins was theirs. But Newcastle had other ideas as Cisse scored in the 94th minute to send the Toon Army ecstatic.

Wigan VS Swansea (DW)

Swansea started of a full speed launching attack after attack in the opening minutes, Swansea got what they deserved when Caulker scored a close range tap-in. Sigursosson scored a penalty on 38minutes. Wigan scored after the break through Mcaurther. Then to the amazement of the Wigan fans Di Santo scored a 30yard screamer. Wigan then had the ball cleared of the line despite the protests off the fans and Wigan players the linesman and referee did not give the goal.

Thats a very weird table, you get a decent run of form going you could be pushing for european places.
